Tour
Spend half a day and explore more of the Music Center and our fascinating neighbors. Landmark architecture didn't begin at the Center with Walt Disney Concert Hall. The 3 original venues of the Music Center, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, the Ahmanson Theatre and the Mark Taper Forum boast award-winning modern architecture by Welton Becket.
What's playing?
Enjoy the art and pick up a ticket to a matinee or maybe a performance later in the day by the LA Phil, Los Angeles Master Chorale, LA Opera, Center Theatre Group or Dance at the Music Center.
Self-guided tour
Use our "Explore the Architecture of Grand Avenue" walking tour brochure (free and available at each location), to visit The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) and the Cathedral Our Lady of the Angels. Both are just a block on either side of the Music Center. The guide allows you to easily navigate the 3-block area while taking in the inspiring architecture at each venue.
Art
MOCA along Grand Avenue (closed Tuesday & Wednesday) is host to elegant underground galleries and boosts the Patinette Café. Great shopping awaits at the flagship location of the MOCA Store.
