The Music Center is a national leader in arts education. We believe the arts enrich the lives of all people and are crucial to the development of every child. All students should have the opportunity to study music, dance, theatre, and visual arts as part of the core K-12 curriculum.

The Music Center is a catalyst and strategic partner to help schools strengthen arts education. Partnering with classroom teachers and school administrators to ensure sustained arts learning, we offer an array of in-school programs and services including on-campus performances, classroom workshops with professional artists, arts training programs for teachers, and multi-media curriculum materials. Additionally, the Music Center offers specialized consulting services for district and school-level strategic planning, arts curriculum alignment and staff capacity-building.

In addition to in-school arts education programs serving all schools in Los Angeles County, we offer a number of programs for children and families to visit the Music Center. Most family performances take place on weekends and are free of charge.
